Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course that teaches you how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis.  Participants will learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs and symptoms of mental illness. This course gives tools to help friends, family members, colleagues, and others in the community.

Presented by Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare.

Participants who completed the course are certified in Mental Health First Aid for 3 years.
