Find Your ACE Score

Childhood Matters

Things that happen to you as a child can follow you around for the rest of your life. Both positive and negative experiences can not only affect your mental health, but your physical health as well.

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) have been shown to increase the likelihood of:

  • Risky health behaviors
  • Chronic health conditions
  • Early death

As the number of ACEs increases, so does the risk for these outcomes. More than 70 percent of American adults have at least one of the 10 ACEs.

You can find your ACE score below, and you can see an unofficial average score of the greater Omaha metro community. Please remember, as important as your ACE score is, even more important is your capacity for resiliency.
